Current Book (awaiting publication) : Heartbreakingly Beautiful

We are asked about our story on a regular basis. You see, it’s not everyday that a family is made by adoption and adoption only. And even more unusual is a family of four children, each from different birth families. We are more than happy to answer any of all the questions that come our way. However, for a long time I shied away from talking about the spiritual impact this journey had on our lives. I was afraid it was too much, and perhaps, too out there with the fervency of my telling. But then I began to understand that whether or not you believe in God, a higher power, mother nature, or the gods of fate, there are way too many coincidences in our story to have it just be Luck or Chance. So while this story is about our adoptions, it is also about the journey that we each took in our hearts and with God before, during, and now after these adoptions. The journey that we had to take to understand the magnitude of what we were doing and the blessings that would be bestowed upon us with each child. So again, whether you believe in a God, a higher power, mother nature, or the gods of fate, you will see that even with your own journey, there are too many threads woven through the fabric of your life to just write them off easily as happenstance. I hope through my telling of our tale and what you see through our eyes gives you encouragement, hope, and a renewed belief in the woven pieces of your own story.
